English: The Ofori Panin Senior High School (OPASS) is a school in Kukurantumi (contemporary East Akim Municipal District in the Eastern Region of Ghana). This school was inaugurated on the 19th of May, 1961 by the then President of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah. The name of this educational institution goes back to Ofori Panin (literally: "Ofori, the Elder"), the first Okyenhene (King of Akim-Abuakwa). (Ofori (Affory) Panin reigned as Okyenhene 1704 (?) - 1727. Before 1704 was his title "Kwaebibrimhene" and he is probably identically with the then Adansihene Akora Folipan. Ofori Panin died in April 1727 in the age of 99 years.)
