English: An obround is a two-dimensional geometric shape constructed of a rectangle with semicircles at a pair of opposite sides. It is also called a discorectangle, sausage body, or stadium. Its three-dimensional counterpart, called a capsule or a spherocylinder, can be produced by revolving a stadium around the line of symmetry that bisects the semicircles.
