English: The Obelisk "Moscow - Hero City" is a Moscow monument, opened on May 9, 1977 at the intersection of Kutuzovsky Prospekt and Bolshaya Dorogomilovskaya Street in memory of the city’s defense in 1941. Performed by the sculptor Alexander Shcherbakov, designed by architects Grigory Zakharov and Zinaida Chernysheva.
