English: Nun Ings. Meadows between Bishopthorpe Road and the River Ouse, York. To the north is Nunthorpe, to the south is Middlethorpe and Middlethorpe Ings. The name Nun Ings is derived from the ownership of the land in the medieval period by St Clement's Nunnery.
