English: Nio-Mon Temple Gate was a c.1600 Japanese building from Hitachi Province, that was exhibited at the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis, Missouri.[1] After the fair, it was purchased and relocated to Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where it stood from 1906 to May 1955, when it was destroyed in a fire.[2]
