English: The New England Historic Genealogical Society was founded in 1845. Their headquarters at 99-101 Newbury Street between Berkeley and Dartmouth Streets in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts is the organization's seventh home. It was built in 1928 as the headquarters of the New England Trust Company, and was designed by Ralph Coolidge Henry and Henry P. Richmond. When the NEHGS moved in in 1964, it added five more floors to the original three.
