[edit]Deutsch: Diese Kategorie erfasst Neuroterus albipes, eine Eichenblatt-Gallwespe aus der Familie Gallwespen (Cynipidae), in Ruhland mit Ortsteil Arnsdorf.
Die Art legt ihre Eier an Blätter der Stieleiche (Quercus robur) und möglicherweise weiteren Eichenarten und ihre Larven entwickeln sich in dadurch verursachten, charakteristischen Gallen. Diese sind in einem Generationswechsel mit jährlich einer zweigeschlechtlichen und einer parthenogenetischen Generation linsenförmig an der Unterseite oder nierenförmig an Adern der Eichenblätter.
English: This category contains Neuroterus albipes (previously Neuroterus laeviusculus and Spathegaster albipes), a gall wasp which on leaves of Quercus robur or common oak, pedunculate oak, European oak, causes characteristic galls, in Ruhland with urban district Arnsdorf.
It has both bisexual and agamic generations and therefore forms two distinct galls, the smooth spangle gall and Schenck's gall.
