English: Navestock is a civil parish and village in the Borough of Brentwood in south Essex, England. Navestock parish covers an area of over 1800 hectares (4500 acres) and had a population of 510 in 2001. The M25 motorway cuts through its south-west edge. The village is situated approximately 5 km (3 miles) north-west of the town of Brentwood. Other settlements in the parish are the hamlets of Navestock Side and Horseman Side.
Navestock means 'the stump on the headland', which reflects its topography and landscape.
