English: Nathaniel Richardson (February 2, 1754 – September 2, 1827), an American silversmith active in Philadelphia. He apprenticed as a silversmith under his father, Joseph Richardson, Sr., and worked with his older brother, Joseph Richardson, Jr., in the silversmithing firm of Joseph & Nathaniel Richardson in 1785-1791. He decided to give up silversmithing and became an ironmonger. He never married and was known as the "bachelor uncle" in the Richardson's family (The Winterthur Library).
