From October 11, 2019 until March 13, 2020, a fairly exhaustive retrospective (150 paintings and drawings) of the work of Albert André (1869-1954), post-impressionist painter and great friend of Auguste Renoir for 20 years, took place in Nîmes at the Gard departmental archives. Produced thanks to the participation of the museums, Albert ANDRÉ in Bagnols-sur-Cèze of which Albert André was curator, Sacred Art of Gard in Pont-Saint-Esprit, Renoir in Cagnes-sur-Mer, Orsay, Modern Art of the City of Paris, Art and History of Saint-Denis, Paul-Dini in Villefranche-sur-Saône, etc...
