English: Pella (Greek: Πέλλα) is a municipality in the Pella regional unit of Macedonia, Greece, centered on Giannitsa, the largest town of the regional unit. It is named after the ancient city of Pella, the capital of the Kingdom of Macedonia and birthplace of Alexander the Great, which site is located on its territory.
