English: Moshe Shem Tov (April 1924 – December 2005) was the Chairman of the Association of the Deaf in Israel ("Acha") from 1972 to 1989. He was the first Deaf leader who confirmed Leadership Courses for young and inexperienced Deaf people, in purpose of training them to be the next generation of Acha leaders and activists.
Shem Tov was born in Bulgaria and immigrated to Israel in July 1948. He got married, and left a daughter and a son, both were hearing.
