English: Mooltan was an ocean liner, built in 1905 by J. Caird & Co, Greenock (Yard No 306) for the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company. She was sunk July 26, 1917 by torpedo by the German U-boat UC-27 53 miles NNW (1/2?) by W from Cape Serrat. She was carrying 554 passengers and crew, all but two of whom were saved before she sank.[1][2]
