  • Italiano: Sul lato nord del parcheggio Elio Susanna (Via Pascatti), lungo l'antica cinta muraria della città di San Vito al Tagliamento , è collocato un monumento del 1933 dedicato ai caduti in guerra, imperniato su un'ara di marmo rosso di Verona, scolpita in rilievo sui 4 lati. Sulla faccia anteriore (sud) e su quella posteriore (nord), lati più corti, sono raffigurati volti di fanti con l'elmetto indossato. Al centro dei due lati lunghi una corona d'alloro con all'interno una croce greca ed ai lati di questa troviamo sul fianco destro (est) lo stemma scudato del Friuli (aquila) e quello della città di San Vito al Tagliamento mentre sul fianco sinistro (ovest) altri due stemmi scudati, di cui uno è quello di casa Savoia (scudo con croce).L'ara è posata su uno zoccolo in marmo bianco, che reca incisa l'iscrizione dedicatoria "San Vito al Tagliamento ai suoi morti in guerra dedica e consacra - A.D. MCMXXXIII - XI E.F.", che si snoda su tutti e quattro i lati. Lo zoccolo è a sua volta posato su un basamento intarsiato con marmi bianchi e neri. La parte posteriore dell'opera è visibile anche dall'esterno della cinta muraria grazie ad una specifica apertura.
  • English: On the north side of the Elio Susanna's car park (Pascatti street), along the ancient walls of the city of San Vito al Tagliamento , there is a monument dedicated to the war dead, centered on a red Verona marble altar, carved in relief on all 4 sides. On the front (south) and rear (north) sides, shorter sides, the faces of infantrymen wearing helmets are depicted. At the center of the two long sides a laurel wreath with a Greek cross inside and on the sides of this we find on the right side (east) the shielded coat of arms of Friuli (eagle) and that of the city of San Vito al Tagliamento while on the side on the left (west) two other shielded coats of arms, one of which is that of the house of Savoy (shield with cross). The altar is placed on a white marble plinth, which bears the dedicatory inscription engraved on all four sides. The plinth is in turn placed on a base inlaid with black and white marble. The rear part of the work is also visible from outside the city walls thanks to a specific opening.
  • Deutsch: Auf der Nordseite des Elio Susanna Parkplatzes, in der Pascatti strasse, entlang der alten Mauern der Stadt San Vito al Tagliamento , befindet sich ein Denkmal, das den Kriegstoten gewidmet ist. In der Mitte steht ein Altar aus rotem Marmor aus Verona, der auf allen vier Seiten mit Reliefs verziert ist. Auf der Vorder- (Süd-) und der Rückseite (Nordseite), den kürzeren Seiten, sind die Gesichter von Infanteristen mit Helmen abgebildet. In der Mitte der beiden Längsseiten befindet sich ein Lorbeerkranz mit einem griechischen Kreuz im Inneren und an den Seiten davon finden wir auf der rechten Seite (Osten) das abgeschirmte Wappen von Friaul (Adler) und das der Stadt San Vito al Tagliamento , während auf der linken Seite (Westen) zwei weitere Wappen mit Schild angebracht sind, eines davon ist das des Hauses Savoyen (Schild mit Kreuz). Der Altar steht auf einem weißen Marmorsockel, in den auf allen vier Seiten die Widmungsinschrift eingraviert ist. Der Sockel wiederum steht auf einem mit schwarzem und weißem Marmor eingelegten Sockel. Der hintere Teil des Werkes ist dank einer speziellen Öffnung auch von außerhalb der Stadtmauern sichtbar.
