English: The Montbovon Chalet was built in 1668 in Gruyère and transported to Geneva for the 1896 National Exhibition as part of the reproduction of a typical Swiss village. At the end of the event, it was sold at auction, bought by the Gustave Revilliod Foundation and set up in the Ariana Park.
