English: Monongahela was a four-masted steel-hulled barque, built in 1892 by Barclay, Curle & Co., Glasgow (Yard No 378) for Eyre, Evans & Co., Liverpool as Balasore. Her dimensions were length: 311 ft (94.7 m); width: 43.6 ft (13.2 m); depth: 24.5 ft (746.7 cm)

Her tonnages were 2,724 GRT and 2,562 NRT. 1913 sold to Knöhr & Burchard, Hamburg, and renamed Dalbek. 1917 taken over by the United States Shipping Board, Postland, OR, and renamed Red Jacket. 1918 renamed Monongahela. 1923 sold to Charles Nelson, San Francisco. 1936 sold to Kelly Logging Co., Vancouver, and reduced to a lighter. Broke her tow, wrecked and lost at Porcher Island, BC. 17 Dez. 1943. [1][2][3]
