Translated from only a fraction of the precise description in the German Wikipedia, under the lemma "Klosterkirche": To the west, where the Via Sacra turns south towards the city gate, are the ruins of the monastery church. It is a complex of several sacral buildings with seven apses that were built at different times. These are labelled A–G by Guyer from north to south. The oldest are the two outer ones, A and G. They belonged to two single-nave chapels, of which little survives and whose extent to the west can no longer be determined. A basilica was added from the north to A, whose main apse is C, flanked by two side rooms. A row of arcades led to a longer exonarthex, which also served as an anteroom for other buildings. For this basilica, the excavators assume a date of origin in the 7th century.
