English: Minibuses for the public transport of persons (on private basis) across short distances in Ghana are often called tro-tro (Trotro) and are mostly a welcome alternative to a nonexistent or only insufficient local public traffic.
Notice: The term tro has nothing to do with the godly beings of the traditional Ewe religion called "Trowo" (Singular: "Tro").
