Miners by László Marton (1985 bronze statue) in Hild Park. Story: Ajka was a mining town. In 1984, in the statue creation year, Padragkut,-a settlement close to the local coal field,-was linked to the city. Approx. in 20 years later, they will bring in the last piece charcoal. All the mines was closed and the almost 150 years mining in Ajka has come to an end. - Ajka, Veszprém County, Hungary.
