The Middle Ugab Valley, often misleadingly called ‘Ugab Valley’ is a broad elongated depression in the Precambrian basement (Damara sequence) of NW Namibia that underwent several phases of deposition and erosion (river incision) by the (Paleo) Ugab river system during the Cenozoic era.
