English: Mercury is the god of trade and profit, and also merchants and travelers. He is the son of Zeus and Maia. Maia is the Goddess of the clouds. Mercury is the messenger of the Gods and he has wing on his shoes so he could fly. He is also depicted with a staff that has two snakes that wind around it. In astrology, Mercury is the mediator between the four elements, air, earth, fire, water, and the incidents produced by them.
