English: Melvin L. King (1868-1946) was a prominent Syracuse architect for over 40 years. Born in Lafayette, New York, he began his career in 1888. He apprenticed with Archimedes Russell and was a partner in their firm, which later became King + King Architects. He designed buildings for The First Trust & Deposit Company in the 1920s, as well as other buildings.[1][2]
