English: Mecseki Ércbányászati Vállalat (abbrev. MÉV). The company was founded in 1955, as a military diversion as a Bauxitbánya Vállalat (Bauxite Mine Company). A year later it was named Pécsi Uránércbánya Vállalat (Pécs Uranium Mining Company), and then production began. Renamed to Mecseki Ércbányászati Vállalat (Mecsek Ore Mining Company) in 1964. In September 1997 the ore extraction was completed. Now, the Mecsekérc Zrt. (~Mecsek Ore Inc.) is the successor company. Source:[1] (Hu)
