English: The Martyrs Memorial, Abbey Precincts, Bury St Edmunds. Erected in 1903 in memory of 17 Protestant martyrs. Three panels are inscribed with names, the fourth is inscribed 'WHO, FOR THEIR FAITHFUL TESTIMONY TO GOD'S TRUTH DURING THE REIGN OF QUEEN MARY SUFFERED DEATH IN THIS TOWN 1555-1558'.
