English: A 3.5-mile branch line from Martin Mill station up the cliffs to a point above Dover, enabling military materials to be brought to the Admiralty Pier at Dover. The line was partially reused during the Second World War for a coastal artillery battery, including the 14 inch Mk VII naval-type guns "Winnie" and "Pooh".
