English: Mario Tchou (recte: Mario Zhou; Rome, 1924 – Santhià, 1961), was an Italian engineer, of Chinese descent, a pioneer of computer science in Italy. Enrolled by Adriano Olivetti qhen he was working as Associate in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University, he then began the chief engineer of the Olivetti Elea project
