English: The "Mapal Kangjeibung" (Modern Meitei: ꯃꯄꯥꯜ ꯀꯥꯡꯖꯩꯕꯨꯡ, Ancient Meitei: ꯃꯄꯥꯜ ꯀꯥꯡꯆꯩꯄꯨꯡ), also known as the "Imphal Polo Ground" (Modern Meitei: ꯏꯝꯐꯥꯜ ꯀꯥꯡꯖꯩꯕꯨꯡ, Ancient Meitei: ꯏꯝꯐꯥꯜ ꯀꯥꯡꯆꯩꯄꯨꯡ), is the world's oldest polo ground, in Imphal, the metropolis of Manipur. It has its earliest recorded history of existence right from the 15th century BC (3500 years back).
