English: The Manhyia is a great place in Kumasi, which is located at the entrance of the palace of the Asantehene (Manhyia Palace). On this court were held all major public state ceremonies in the past, unless they are held in the courtyard of the royal palace.
Deutsch: Der Manhyia ist ein großer Platz in Kumasi, der sich vor dem Eingang des Palastes des Asantehene (Manhyia-Palast) befindet. Auf dem Platz wurden in der Vergangenheit alle wichtigen öffentlichen Staatszeremonien abgehalten, sofern diese nicht im Innenhof des königlichen Palastes stattfanden.
