English: Mainline is a Burnley & Pendle brand applied to a number of their bus routes which share a common central corridor between Padiham and Colne in Lancashire. It was launched on 15 June 2001 while the company was under Blazefield ownership, with the introduction of new low floor buses - 25 Wright Renown bodied Volvo B10BLE's. It was part of a local authority quality bus partnership, which also saw improvements to related infrastructure. Launched as The Mainline, the buses wore a roofline route branding alongside the standard red & cream livery. The brand continued into the Transdev era (post 3rd January 2006). From 12 February 2009 - with the introduction of 19 Wright Eclipse Urban bodied Volvo B7RLE's - the brand was refreshed, becoming just 'Mainline' and now applied as an allover maroon livery. 11 of the original B10BLE's were also refurbished and repainted into the new scheme.
