The Mahanavami Dibba is a massive elevated square platform found midst the Royal Enclosure of Hampi. Two main stairways lead up to the top. The east-facing steps are flanked by carvings of elephants, horses, and other artwork on both sides. Twin stairs are behind the platform. The top offers commanding views of the numerous ruins and the Pushkarini rediscovered in the 20th century.

The Mahanavami Dibba is named after the important Hindu festival called Mahanavami (Dussehra) associated with the Hindu god Rama, celebrating his victory over evil in the war against Ravana. The platform served as a view point for annual festival processions.

The platform's lower section is intricately carved with sculptures and ornamentations. They show royal ceremonies, Hindu festive dances, and secular life. They are notable for including foreign envoys with Portuguese, Arabic, and Chinese costumes or faces.
