English: Lydlinch is a village in north Dorset, England, situated on the River Lydden in the Blackmore Vale, three miles west of Sturminster Newton. The village has a population of 431 . Poet William Barnes was born in the village and wrote about the five bells which hang on the tower of the 13th century church of John the Baptist.
