English: Lucky Chops is an American brass band from New York City, founded in 2006. The band became known by making band-covers of popular songs, but then started to compose its own music. Lucky Chops plays mostly jazz and pop (brassy funk) music. Original band members knew each other since studying at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts:
  • Josh Holcomb (trombone),
  • Daro Behroozi (tenor saxophone),
  • Joshua Gawel (trumpet),
  • Reginald Chapman (contrabass bugle),
  • Adrian Condis (baritone saxophone),
  • Patrick Simard (percussion),
  • Charles Sams (percussion) left the band in 2018 to focus on his real estate career,
  • Raphael Buyo (sousaphone) left the band in 2019 to focus on his medical career,
  • Leo Pellegrino (baritone saxophone) left the band in 2016 to focus on his new band Too Many Zooz.
