English: A low noise block (LNB) is the electronics package mounted on a satellite dish that receives the microwave signal from the satellite reflected by the dish. It amplifies the weak signal so it is stronger, filters out noise, and converts the signal to a lower frequency, and sends the signal by coaxial cable into the house.
