Louis Mynuel, merchant-clockmaker privileged King Louis XIV, worked regularly with André-Charles Boulle. The excellence of his movements made him one of the most important clockmakers of his time. Louis Mynuel's works are now preserved in the Louvre Museum, the Château de Fontainebleau, the Royal Swedish Collections, the Royal Palace in Turin and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
