English: London General Transport Services Ltd is a London bus operator that was incorporated on 14 December 1988 as part of the splitting up of London Buses Ltd, which was one of the stages in the process of privatisation of London bus services. As a London Buses subsidiary, it adopted the brand name of London General alongside a logo representing an historic London bus, which appeared on buses in addition to the uniform branding already being used by London Buses before the split. The company was fully privatised in November 1994 when it was sold to its management. In private ownership, the London Buses logo was dropped but the basic livery of red with a grey skirt and mid-level white relief band was retained, with the addition of a thin yellow relief line inbetween the grey and red. The logo was updated to feature a more prominent London General fleetname and Omnibus logo. In May 1996 it was sold to the Go-Ahead Group. It was the group's second aquisition of an ex-London Buses operator, following the purchase of the London Central Bus Company Ltd (London Central) nearly two years earlier, bought directly from London Buses. With more London operators added to the group, in 2008 the logo was changed to a uniform Go-Ahead London name in yellow, with the name London Central relegated to a small white strapline beneath it.
