English: Lock Island is an island of the River Thames, in the Borough of Spelthorne, Surrey, England. For total clarity it is, rarely, also called Shepperton Lock Island. Until about 1900 it did not exist – it was part of Hamhaugh Island to which it is linked by public footbridge over the lower, main, weir: Shepperton Weir
