Loch nam Bàn is a reservoir created by a dam in the vicinity of Torrabus, Islay, serving Port Askaig and the surrounding region of northeast Islay. It acquires content from the ample springs of the surrounding hills and overflows through a partly controled channel into the Sound of Islay through Caol Ila.
