English: The Stone Tortoise in the woods near the Linggu Temple in Nanjing's Linggu Scenice Area. According to the plaque by its side, its story is not known, but it is thought to be associated with the Ming-Dynasty Linggu Temple. Although it (presently) carries no stele (as most of such bixi tortoises do), it looks very similar to Kangxi Emperor's stele-carrying bixi in Nanjing's Drum Tower
