Grammatica del donato liber iesus
This small codex consists only 14 leaves and contains short texts to be used in the education of Massimiliano Sforza (1493-1530), the son of Ludovico il Moro, Duke of Milan and Beatrice d'Este. It is decorated with numerous initials, three historiated initials, and four full-page miniatures.
Most of the scenes in the manuscript are by Giovanni Pietro Birago, a Lombard artist whose work is of somewhat mediocre quality.
