Nineteenth-Century boot and shoe store in Allentown, started by Milton H K (M H) and Charles W (C W) Laros along with E E Bastian on 16 Jan 1892 at 733 Hamilton Street. Moved to 730 Hamilton in Dec 1896 and expanded into both men's and women's styles. C W Laros left the buisness in Feb 1900 and his brother in April 1901, the store subsequently was closed.

C W Laros subsequently went into Allentown politics and was a member of City Council, serving on the common council from the 8th Ward, later serving on the select council. After leaving the shoe business, the brothers went into the real estate, insurance and mortgage business. M R operated the insurance part, while C W the real estate and mortgage portions. M H Laros retired in 1928. Charles Laros passed in Jan 1939 at age 82; Milton Laros passed in Feb 1941 at age 86. The real estate business, C W Laros & Son (after 1925) remained in business until 1969, after a succession of later owners.
