English: Laneham drainage was a scheme to drain 10 square miles (26 km2) of land on the west bank of the River Trent between Laneham and West Burton in Nottinghamshire, England. It was completed in 1772 by the civil engineer John Grundy, whose account of it in volumes 10 and 11 of his Report Books, compiled in the last few years of his life, are the main source of details of the original scheme.
