English: The Land of the Cross-Tipped Churches is a region of rural western Ohio known for its many large Roman Catholic churches. Built primarily in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, these churches generally feature high Gothic Revival spires that can be seen from miles away. Many of these churches, along with a collection of church-related buildings, were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 as part of a multiple property submission, the "Cross-Tipped Churches of Ohio Thematic Resources". This category embraces all properties included in the multiple property submission.
