English: Laminitis tends to involve decreased bloodflow to the front of the hoof, resulting in diminished growth. This can result in "event lines" of disrupted growth between normal growth, if bloodflow is restored to normal; or in permanently impaired growth, where the hoof will have a life-long tendency to develop a high heel.
