Deutsch: Die Skulptur La Laitière (das Milchmädchen) im Garten des Schlosses Glienicke ist eine Nachbildung des 1807 von dem Bildhauer Pawel Petrowitsch Sokolow geschaffenen Originals, das sich im Zarenhof von St. Petersburg befand. Diese Kopie (Abguss 1989) ersetzt die im Krieg verschwundene Kopie, die Zarin Alexandra Feodorowna 1827 ihrem Bruder Prinz Karl von Preußen zum Geburtstag schenkte.

English: The sculpture Laitière (the Milkmaid) in the garden of Glienicke Palace is a replica of the original created in 1807 by the sculptor Pavel Petrovich Sokolov, which was in the Tsar's court in St Petersburg. This copy (cast in 1989) replaces the one that disappeared during the war, which Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna gave as a birthday present to her brother Prince Karl of Prussia in 1827.
