Kopjafa in memory of the 1944 bombing by Sándor Szondy woodcarver (installed in 1994) Background: The world war reached the eastern part of the Hungary in the summer of 1944, and then on June 2, Miskolc was devastated by an extremely serious bomb attack. 206 killed and 420 wounded were caused by the multi-wave bombardment, in which nearly100 aircraft, launched from an Italian base, took part. - Búza Square, Downtown, Miskolc, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, Hungary.
