English: Komödienhaus in Biberach an der Riss, Germany. A former slaughterhouse (built in 1432), 1656–1858 used as a theatre, again used as a theatre since the late 20th century. Site of the German premiere of Shakespeare's The Tempest (Der Sturm) in 1761, directed by Christoph Martin Wieland, the first recorded Shakespeare performance in the German-speaking countries.
