The Former Head Post Office, 42, Eden Street, Kingston upon Thames. Listed Building grade II, Entry Number:1080100.
Gothic design by Robert Richardson (1875). Later extended to include a Parcel Sorting Office. A Telephone Exchange was added in 1908 in the Arts and Crafts style, designed by John Rutherford. The former Telephone Exchange was closed in 1984 and sold to private developers. The main Post Office closed in 1995.
