English: The Kanwar Yatra (Devanagari: कांवड़ यात्रा Kā̃vaṛ Yātrā) is an annual pilgrimage of devotees of Shiva to Hindu pilgrimage places of Haridwar, Gaumukh and Gangotri in Uttarakhand and Sultanganj in Bihar to fetch holy waters of the Ganges River.
