The Kalika Devi temple of Ramtek, also known as Kalanka Devi mandir, is an 8th-century Hindu goddess tradition temples complex on the northwest side of Ramagiri hill, Ramtek Maharashtra. It is near the Shantinatha Jain temples complex.
The Kalika Devi temple is mostly from the Chalukya era, but with notable Vakataka era roots such as in the pillars. The temple shows a blend of north and west Indian architectural style expanded with south Indian (Karnataka) elements. The temple has a two-storey torana that is from the Vakataka era (5th or 6th century). The temple has a square mandapa and a square vimana, but with a barrel-vaulted roof (also seen in Hindu monuments at Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu, as well as some historic Gujarat, Odisha, Andhra, Karnataka, and Kerala Hindu temples). This Valabhi style is from the Chalukya period (8th century). The temple also preserves ruined statues mostly from the 7th to 9th century, with a notable Ganesha.
The Kalika Devi temple is oldest surviving Hindu Shakta tradition complex in Ramtek.
