English: Joseph Dollar was a four-masted steel barque built in 1902 by J. Reid & Co., Glasgow (yard No. 324), for Knöhr & Burchard, Hamburg with her originally name Schürbek. 1921 sold to Dollar Co., San Francisco, and renamed Joseph Dollar. 1929 hulked by Chinese owners.
Dimensions: length × beam × depth = 293.8 × 43.1 × 24.7 ft (89.5 × 13.1 × 7.5 m) and tonnage 2409 GRT and 2266 NRT. Originally rigged in jubilee fashion, i.e. with nothing above double top- and top-gallant sails.[1]
